Noa Silversten

Noa Silversten is a performer, composer and educator specialising in solo and chamber repertoire for Electric Bass, with a practice focused on broadening the instrument’s role within contemporary performance. 


A graduate of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (B-Mus Hons.), studying with Sean Connolly and Dan McKay, Noa has collaborated with grant-supported chamber groups, worked with established and emerging composers and premiered new works across classical, contemporary and art music contexts. He continues to perform across a wide range of genres, from funk and fusion bands to Guitar quartets and Early music Ensembles on historical stringed instruments. 


With this background, Noa is equipped to teach and support students across a broad range of studies on the Electric Bass, including guiding students to reach VCE and AMEB exam assessments and goals.
