Community Outreach

The Plucked String is proud to partner with Southbank Library to provide FREE

Music Theory & Aural Skills classes every Tuesday from 5:00pm - 6:00pm in the library Assembly Hall.

These are mixed skill classes designed for complete beginners with no musical training to learn basic music literacy through to tertiary level concepts.

Classes are FREE and attendance is casual. No Commitment. All materials provided.

(To make meaningful progress students are encouraged to attend class regularly, and bring a pencil and notebook if they can)

Our goal is to make music literacy accessible to everyone and provide real education outcomes for our students.
