About

The Melbourne Guitar Ensemble is a FREE community guitar ensemble organised by The Plucked String music studio in Southbank, and directed by

Damien McCluskey.

The ensemble is designed to be an inclusive and encouraging space for musicians to meet like minded individuals, while also gaining hands-on classical guitar ensemble experience.

We are a Classical Guitar focused group, playing repertoire by Australian composers.

People of all skill levels are welcome to attend.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own music stand, instrument.

Rehearsals take place Monday nights from 6:30pm - 7:30pm located on the roof of our building 370 St Kilda Rd, Southbank.
